Ryobi One+ R18CSP Circular Saw
What’s a circular saw? What’s it used for? A powerful motor spinning a toothed cutting blade with a handle to hold it and push it through the workpiece. Available in sizes of blade from about 100mm up to about 280mm. Smaller lighter ones are good for general purpose work and with a general purpose blade will cut along and across grain and boards as well. The bigger the saw, the bigger the timber it’s good for and also bigger coarser toothed blades are better for cutting along the length of timber (ripping). The small Ryobi one I have (150mm blade) is great for timber up to about 40mm on a crosscut and it’s the powered equivalent of a general purpose handsaw. I use it for cutting full size boards down in the car park at Wickes when I don’t have my roof rack 😳
Note: It doesn't necessarily come with any addons I’ve shown in the picture. I'm just showing what you can get for it. Also most battery tools are sold as "Bare" which means NO BATTERY so you may need to buy the battery (and charger) separately. Check the detail of what you’re buying before you buy because specs do change.
